Yongbi Expressway in Chongqing was officially opened to traffic.

As an important transportation artery connecting Yongchuan District and Bishan District, Yongbi Expressway is a key component of Chongqing's expressway network. The project starts from Dishuiyan in Yongchuan District, connects with the Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway, passes through Daan Town and Jinlong Town, crosses the Yunwu Mountain and Meijiang River, and finally ends at Daxing Town in Bishan District, achieving interconnection with the Hebi-Jin Expressway.
After the opening of Yongbi Expressway, the driving time between Yongchuan and Bishan will be significantly shortened, making it an important link in the transportation network of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle and significantly improving the interconnection level of the western Chongqing area.
By connecting with the Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway and Hebi-Jin Expressway, Yongbi Expressway will further optimize the structure of the western Chongqing expressway network, providing more convenient transportation support for industrial development and logistics transportation in towns along the route.
The project adopts a number of intelligent transportation devices, including variable message signs, fog area guidance systems, etc., to provide drivers and passengers with a safer and more comfortable travel experience.
