Chuangdi Technology Supply: Wuyunkai Expressway!

The section from Wuxi Hub to Shashi Interchange of the Chongqing Wuxi-Kaizhou Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Wuyunkai Expressway") was officially opened to traffic. By then, the entire Wuyunkai Expressway will be fully operational!

Project Overview

Starting from Wuxi County, the Wuyunkai Expressway connects with the Fengxi Expressway at the Wuxi Hub, passing through Fenghuang, Lingjiao, Tangfang, Wenfeng, and Chaoyang in Wuxi County, as well as Shashi and Yuquan in Yunyang County. It intersects with the under-construction Jianglong Expressway at the Jiangkou Hub, runs through Shuanglong in Yunyang County and Jinfeng in Kaizhou District, and ends at Houba in Kaizhou District, connecting with the Chengkai Expressway at the Kaizhou Hub. The route spans 118.6 kilometers, constructed as a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 80 km/h. After fully operational, the driving time from Kaizhou District to Wuxi County will be reduced from 2.5 hours to 1.5 hours.


 

In January 2025, the 50-kilometer section from Shashi Interchange to Kaizhou Hub of Wuyunkai Expressway was firstly opened to traffic. With the completion of the Wuxi Hub to Shashi Interchange section, the expressway achieves full operational. Henceforth, renowned scenic spots such as Xuebaoshan, Hanfeng Lake, Longgang, and Daning Ancient City are efficiently connected, accelerating the integrated development of tourism resources along the route and fundamentally improving traffic for over 3 million residents in the region.
