How many common traffic lights are there
1. Red, yellow, and green lights: These are the most common traffic lights, representing stop, warning, and passage respectively. Red light indicates prohibition of passage, yellow light indicates warning to the driver to prepare to stop or proceed, and green light indicates permission to proceed.
2. Dual color light: This type of traffic light only has two colors, red and green, without yellow. Its usage is the same as three color lights, but it may be suitable for certain specific situations, such as intersections that only require two-way traffic.
3. Gradient light: This type of traffic light gradually changes color from red to green, indicating a gradual increase in traffic flow. Under the gradient light, the driver can prepare in advance according to the color change of the signal light.
4. Ring lights: Ring lights are composed of multiple LED lights that can display different combinations to convey different information. For example, it can display a combination of a stop signal and a pass signal to indicate that the driver can pass in one direction and needs to stop in another direction.
5. Intelligent traffic signal system: This type of traffic light collects real-time traffic data through sensors and other devices, automatically adjusts the timing of the signal light as needed, to improve road traffic efficiency and reduce congestion.
