Chuangdi Technology assists Pingrong Expressway, with smart equipment safeguarding every kilometer.
1. Project Introduction
The Pingrong Expressway is a core component of the "Vertical Line 2" in Guangxi's expressway network plan. It is 87 kilometers long, starting in Danzhu Town, Pingnan County, and ending near Fozitang, Rongzhou Town, Rong County. It is constructed to a four-lane dual carriageway standard with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The project has a bridge-to-tunnel ratio of 22.72%, including one extra-large bridge, 42 large bridges, and three tunnels. It features three interchange hubs, six ground-level interchanges, and two service areas. The Pingnan Extra-Large Bridge, a key control project, is the largest span cable-stayed bridge in Guangxi.
After its opening, the travel time between Pingnan and Rong County will be reduced from two hours to one hour. As an important passage connecting Hunan, Guangxi, and Guangdong, the Pingrong Expressway links multiple expressways, enhancing connectivity between the Xijiang Economic Belt and the Beibu Gulf and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and injecting momentum into Guangxi's development as a transportation powerhouse. For Yulin, this expressway has filled the transportation gap in the northern townships of Rong County, enabling residents to access the expressway right at their doorstep, solving the problem of detours, accelerating the integration of commerce and tourism, and laying a solid transportation foundation for Yulin to integrate into the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt.
